Dr. Bálazs Tóth attended the VII PhD & Postdoc Day 2023 at the Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) on October 30th and 31st. This event, organized by and for PhD students from the URV and ICIQ, was a fantastic opportunity for networking and learning.
The PhD Day featured an impressive lineup of recognized speakers who shared their “scientific life story” and provided many different viewpoints on what to do after finishing a PhD. As every year, the PhD students of the institutions had the opportunity to share their research among their peers1.
Dr. Tóth, known for his significant contributions to the field of chemistry, actively participated in the event. He engaged in insightful discussions with other attendees, shared his experiences, and offered advice to the next generation of researchers.
The event was a great success, with 24 flash talks and 23 poster presentations. It served as a platform for attendees to explore into various aspects of chemistry, fostering a deeper understanding of its implications and opportunities.
