Dr. de la Vega selected for the CAS Future Leaders 2025 Program

Karen de la Vega Hernández has been chosen as one of the 35 early-career scientists worldwide to participate in the CAS Future Leaders 2025 program.

This prestigious program, organized by CAS, a division of the American Chemical Society (ACS), will bring together selected PhD candidates and postdoctoral scholars at CAS headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, from August 11–16, 2025. Participants will develop leadership skills, engage in scientific discussions, and connect with industry experts and peers. They will also attend the ACS Fall 2025 conference in Washington, DC, to present their research and participate in leadership training.

Beyond the in-person experience, Karen will also join the CAS Future Leaders Top 100, an initiative that offers virtual training, a lifetime membership to the CAS Future Leaders Community, and a one-year ACS membership.

This recognition reflects Karen’s dedication to research and innovation, and we look forward to following her journey as a CAS Future Leader!
