Dr. Lian, ICIQ MSCA fellow, showcased his pioneering research at the 6th general conference for the worldwide Psi-k community (August 22–25, 2022 in Lausanne). This prestigious event, known as the largest worldwide gathering in electronic structure, convened luminaries and enthusiasts alike in the pursuit of advancing fundamental theory, algorithms, and computer codes to comprehend, predict, and design materials properties and functions.

Psi-k conferences are renowned for their stimulating environment, and this year was no exception. With a rich program spanning 3.5 days, attendees were treated to plenary talks and symposia covering diverse scientific, engineering, and industrial endeavors related to theoretical condensed matter physics, quantum chemistry, thermodynamics, and statistical mechanics.
