Vasileios will be one of the 611 young scientists from 91 countries invited to the 71st Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting!
The Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings – established in 1951 – provide a globally recognised forum for exchange between Nobel Laureates and young scientists. They inspire scientific generations and build sustainable networks of young scientists around the world.
The opportunity to join the annual gathering of Nobel Laureates at Lindau is provided exclusively to outstanding young scientists aged up to 35 – undergraduates, PhD students, and post-doc researchers. Chemistry scientists are selected through a competitive, multi-stage application and nomination process. When they leave town on the last day, young scientists become Lindau Alumni.
This year the participants will be able to meet each other and around 30 Nobel Laureates in person from 26 June to 1 July. The organisers of the meeting are working to enable as many scientists as possible to participate on site. The preliminary programme is already avaialable and includes lectures from David W.C. MacMillan, Ben L. Feringa and Donna Strickland, among other Nobel Laureates.
