Dr. Duarte made an oral contribution at the EOSAM 2025

The 13th annual meeting of the European Optical Society, held at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands from 24–28 August 2025, was a rich and dynamic convergence of around 500 researchers, students, and industry experts from over thirty countries, all united by a focus on optics and photonics. The conference spanned topics in different topics as biosensing, nanophotonics, quantum optics, optical materials and fiber-technology, offering both plenaries and focused sessions that bridged academia, education and the industry interface. Organized to foster networking, career development and collaboration in a city with deep engineering and optics pedigree, the meeting delivered a vibrant platform for presenting cutting-edge research, exploring new partnerships and engaging with the optical-photonics community on a truly international scale.

Dr. Duarte, ICIQ MSCA PF, made an oral contribution entitled, “Synthetic Protein Scaffolds for Customizable Chromophores Interactions in Energy Conversion Applications” to present the latest findings of his project: deBioLed.
